Ivana Bašić

Ivana Bašić (born 28 February 1976, Split, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia) is a Croatian actress who starred in the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'' as Serbian paramedic ''Snezana Lalovic''. It was announced on 12 February 2009 that she was to leave the series at the end of March, along with co-star Janine Mellor. She resides in London.
Bašić has made a number of appearances on British television, notably ''Murphy's Law'' and ''Silent Witness'', as well as an earlier appearance in ''Casualty''. In 2014 she appeared in an episode of the Channel 5 (UK) detective drama ''Suspects (TV series)''. She normally portrays a character with an central European background, an ability largely helped by her own Croatian background.
